Barbera d'Alba DOC

A full-bodied, dense Barbera from Piedmont that shows why this grape variety is appreciated far beyond its home region. Vinified dry, with a structure that combines power and drinking pleasure.

Cordero di Montezemolo is one of the traditional wineries of the Langhe, known for wines with a clear signature of origin and artisanal care. The Barbera grapes come from vineyards known for their ability to keep fruit and acidity in balance.

In the glass, it shows dark berry fruits, a hint of spice, and a fine chocolate note, underscored by a touch of licorice. The tannins are warm and softly integrated, the body is juicy and dense, and the finish is long and spicy. The lively acidity of the Barbera grape ensures freshness on the palate.

Serve the wine at 16 to 18 °C. It accompanies braised beef, rabbit in red wine, or aged Parmesan just as well as a convivial dinner with pasta in a rich tomato sauce.
