Dolcetto d'Alba DOC

Dolcetto d'Alba DOC
A classic Dolcetto that delivers exactly what the grape variety is capable of: dark fruit, velvety texture and a pleasant bitterness in the finish – without any detours.
Cordero di Montezemolo is one of the most traditional wineries in Piedmont, based in La Morra in the heart of the Barolo region. The family has cultivated their vineyards for generations and, alongside their renowned Nebbiolo wines, also produces the everyday Piedmontese grape variety Dolcetto with the same meticulous care.
In the glass, it displays a clear ruby red color. The nose offers aromas of sour cherry, blackberry, and a hint of licorice – typical of Dolcetto from the Alban Hills. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with soft tannins and lively acidity. The finish is slightly tart and dry – the characteristic bitterness that distinguishes Dolcetto from other red wines.
