About the evening
Burgundy is the home of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir – and for many wine lovers, the benchmark for everything. Hardly anywhere else is such a precise distinction made between individual vineyard sites, and hardly anywhere else can you taste the soil so clearly in the glass.
On this evening, we will travel from Chablis in the north, where Chardonnay on limestone soils turns out particularly mineral and taut, to the Côte d’Or with its famous white and red wines. You will learn what lies behind Village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru and why Burgundy produces such elegant wines in both white and red.
How the evening works
The entire evening will be moderated by our wine expert. For each course, we will introduce the accompanying wines: their origin, the people behind them, and what makes each individual wine special.
There will always be room for questions – whether about grape varieties, vinification, or the ideal serving temperature. You don't need any prior knowledge, just curiosity and a love for enjoyment.
The wines
We will taste wines from Chablis and Burgundy in white and red. The following wines will be in the glass:
Subject to changes in the wine selection. Should a planned wine not be available at short notice, we will select an adequate, harmonious replacement.
The menu
The tasting will be accompanied by a corresponding 4-course menu that picks up on the aromas of the wines and culinarily complements the experience. We will announce the menu at a later date.
Upon request, we also offer a vegetarian menu option – simply let us know when booking.

The price includes all wines for the tasting, the menu, as well as water and bread.
