About the evening
The Palatinate is one of the largest and sunniest wine regions in Germany. Along the German Wine Route, Riesling and Pinot varieties grow in a mild climate, impressing with power, fruit, and joie de vivre.
This evening, we are bringing the Palatinate to the table: with great Palatinate wines and a menu centered around Palatinate classics like Saumagen. Hearty, honest, and just as sociable as the Palatinate is known to be.
How the evening works
The entire evening will be moderated by our wine expert. For each course, we will introduce the accompanying wines: their origin, the people behind them, and what makes each individual wine special.
There will always be room for questions – whether about grape varieties, vinification, or the ideal serving temperature. You don't need any prior knowledge, just curiosity and a love for enjoyment.
The wines
We will taste wines from Philipp Kuhn, Markus Schneider, Matthias Gaul, and Reichsrat von Buhl – with the Riesling from the Saumagen as the highlight. The following wines will be in your glass:
Subject to changes in the wine selection. Should a planned wine be unavailable at short notice, we will select an adequate, harmonious replacement.
The menu
The tasting will be accompanied by a corresponding 4-course menu that picks up on the aromas of the wines and culinarily complements the experience. We will announce the menu at a later date.
Upon request, we also offer a vegetarian menu option – simply let us know when booking.
Included services
The price includes all tasting wines, the menu, as well as water and bread.
