Over the evening

The Taittinger Champagne House embodies an extraordinary passion: producing top-quality French Champagne of international renown, characterized by unparalleled elegance and lightness. For generations, this traditional family business has been uncompromisingly dedicated to crafting the finest sparkling wines. A particularly high proportion of Chardonnay grapes, precise hand-harvesting in the best vineyards of Champagne, and extended, careful lees aging in the historic chalk cellars of Reims lend the wines their legendary freshness, finesse, and aromatic depth. Taittinger is recognized worldwide as the epitome of French joie de vivre and a shining icon of Champagne.

This evening we will present you with a carefully selected range of outstanding champagnes – an experience that impressively showcases the stylistic breadth and the distinctive, elegant signature of this world-renowned house.

This is how the evening goes

The entire evening will be moderated by our wine expert. With each course, we'll introduce you to the accompanying champagnes: their origin, the unique characteristics of the vineyards and the blend, as well as the philosophy of the Taittinger house. There will be plenty of time for questions – whether about traditional aging methods, the art of blending, or the ideal serving temperature. No prior knowledge is necessary, just curiosity and a love of fine wine.

The champagnes showcase minerality, finesse, and a wonderfully creamy texture – ranging from lively and fresh to profoundly structured. We'll let you know exactly which cuvées will be available in due course.

Taittinger

Champagne Taittinger from Reims is one of the great names of Champagne – a house that has existed since 1734 and received its current name in 1932, when Pierre Taittinger combined his vision with the third oldest Champagne house in history. What distinguishes Taittinger to this day is its consistent approach: Chardonnay is at the heart of every blend, lending the wines their characteristic freshness and finesse. With 288 hectares of its own vineyards in the best locations in Champagne – including Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs – and UNESCO-listed chalk cellars dating back to the 4th century, the Champagne produced here is far more than just a drink: it is the expression of a family business that has preserved its values for generations.
