Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée 0.75l

English sparkling wine from Kent, born from a partnership between Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and wine merchant Patrick McGrath. The aim: to develop a style that takes the chalky soils of the North Downs as seriously as Champagne.

The Classic Cuvée is a blend of several vintages, aged on the lees for three years. In the glass, it reveals aromas of white peach, grapefruit, and a hint of citrus peel. The perlage is fine, the finish dry with a distinct minerality – typical of chalky soils.

It pairs well as an aperitif, with oysters, steamed whitefish, or mild goat cheese. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C.
