Wine & Dine - Champagne Taittinger on December 4th, 2026

About the evening
The Champagne house Taittinger stands for an extraordinary passion: top-class French Champagne of international standing, characterized by incomparable elegance and lightness. For generations, the traditional family business has been uncompromisingly dedicated to the composition of the finest sparkling wines. A particularly high proportion of Chardonnay grapes, precise hand-picking in the best vineyards of Champagne, and a long, gentle aging on the lees in the historic chalk cellars of Reims give the wines their legendary freshness, finesse, and aromatic depth. Taittinger is considered worldwide as the epitome of French art de vivre and a shining icon of Champagne.
On this evening, we will present you with a carefully selected range of outstanding Champagnes – an experience that impressively shows the stylistic breadth and the defining, elegant signature of this world-renowned house.
How the evening works
The entire evening will be moderated by our wine expert. For each course, we will introduce you to the accompanying Champagnes: their origin, the special features of the vineyards and the blend, as well as the philosophy of the house of Taittinger. There will always be room for questions – whether about traditional aging methods, the art of blending, or the ideal serving temperature. You don't need any prior knowledge, just curiosity and a joy for indulgence.
The Champagnes present minerality, finesse, and a wonderfully creamy texture – from lively and fresh to deeply structured. We will announce exactly which cuvées will be in your glass in good time.

On this evening, we will taste first-class Champagnes made using traditional bottle fermentation from the renowned house of Champagne Taittinger from Reims. The exact selection of Champagnes will be announced at a later date.

Taittinger
Champagne Taittinger from Reims is one of the great names of Champagne – a house that has existed since 1734 and received its current name in 1932, when Pierre Taittinger combined his vision with the third oldest Champagne house in history. What distinguishes Taittinger to this day is its consistent approach: Chardonnay is at the heart of every blend, lending the wines their characteristic freshness and finesse. With 288 hectares of its own vineyards in the best locations in Champagne – including Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs – and UNESCO-listed chalk cellars dating back to the 4th century, the Champagne produced here is far more than just a drink: it is the expression of a family business that has preserved its values for generations.
