Good to know: This event is still in the planning stage – we are continuously adding details such as wines, menu, and schedule. However, you can already book your spot.
About the evening
Malbec has found a second home in Argentina – and a very unique style. In Mendoza, the vines grow at the foot of the Andes, at altitudes that would be barely imaginable in Europe. The large differences between warm days and cool nights bring intense fruit and, at the same time, noticeable freshness.
On this evening, we will travel through the high-altitude vineyards of South America – with wines from Catena Zapata, one of the pioneers of Argentine high-altitude viticulture, and Kaiken, the Argentine winery of the Chilean winemaking family Montes. From elegant Chardonnay to powerful Malbec, we will show you how altitude, light, and the Andean climate shape the character of the wines.
How the evening works
The entire evening will be moderated by our wine expert. For each course, we will introduce the accompanying wines: their origin, the people behind them, and what makes each individual wine special.
There will always be room for questions – whether about grape varieties, vinification, or the ideal serving temperature. You don't need any prior knowledge, just curiosity and a love for enjoyment.
