Wachenheimer Gerümpel P.C. Riesling dry QW Pfalz 1.5L

A dry Riesling from the Premier Cru site Gerümpel in Wachenheim, bottled in a magnum. It appears taut and precise while having enough substance for a large group.

The Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery is one of the most renowned addresses in the Palatinate and stands for Rieslings that clearly show their terroir. Gerümpel is one of the well-known Wachenheim sites, and the wine bears the abbreviation P.C. for Premier Cru. It is labeled as an organic wine.

On the nose, there are juicy orange, ripe pear, and a light brioche note. On the palate, the wine appears mineral and straightforward. A lively acidity gives it freshness and structure, while spicy-citrus tones provide depth. The finish is radiant and remains present for a long time.

We recommend serving it at 8–10 °C, with fried zander, sweetbreads, or a chicken fricassee with lemon. It also pairs well with mild mountain cheese. The 1.5-liter bottle is suitable for a meal with several guests or as a gift for Riesling lovers.
