Sustainable Rosé
Cederberg's Sustainable Rosé is a South African rosé wine for those who don't see enjoyment and responsibility as mutually exclusive. Produced at the eponymous winery in the Cederberg Mountains – one of South Africa's highest wine regions – this wine is made with minimal intervention in the vineyard and cellar: sustainable, honest, and crafted with meticulous precision.
The grapes come exclusively from 18-year-old Shiraz vines , whose deep root system lends the wine remarkable depth. In the glass, it shines a vibrant, exotic pink – a first hint of what's to come: strawberry, watermelon, and a delicate touch of cotton candy , all embedded in a creamy, balanced texture. The finish is fresh, and the balance is perfect.
Ideal for warm evenings on the patio, as an accompaniment to light summer salads, grilled fish, or mild goat cheese. It also makes an excellent aperitif – and whoever brings it as a gift is not only giving a fine wine, but also a little story about ethical farming practices.
