Study summer semester Cuvée off-dry
Three grape varieties, one clear goal: a white wine that works in summer — for barbecues, on the terrace, in the second glass.
The Studier winery from the Palatinate region combines Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay in this cuvée. The idea behind it is simple: Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc provide freshness and structure, while Chardonnay rounds things out and softens the acidity. The result is off-dry—that is, with a subtle residual sweetness that balances the fruit and acidity without being heavy.
In the glass, aromas of gooseberry, melon, and fresh apple. The acidity is present but integrated—no harsh finish, but rather a juicy, inviting conclusion. Light body, uncomplicated structure.
Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with grilled vegetables, goat cheese salads, tarte flambée, or simply on its own as an aperitif. "Feinherb" here means approachable—those who prefer dry wines with little residual sugar should opt for the dry version.
Studier Winery in the Palatinate proves that tradition and innovation are not mutually exclusive – they complement each other. Reinhard Studier and his team cultivate their 40 hectares of vineyards organically and with genuine Palatinate serenity.
The range follows a charming concept: The Campus wines offer a fresh, fruity introduction – aged in stainless steel tanks, uncomplicated and easy to drink. The Master wines go deeper: matured in wooden barrels, with a creamy texture and aromas of vanilla, mocha, or pineapple. Tasting is believing.
