Studier Grauburgunder trocken
A classic Pinot Gris that shows what this grape variety can do when given time and care: creamy texture, ripe fruit, earthy depth.
Studier Winery practices organic farming – not as a marketing promise, but as the foundation for wines that reflect the terroir. Typical of the winery's style: minimal intervention in the cellar, allowing the grape variety to remain recognizable.
In the glass, aromas of peach and apricot, along with almond blossom and a slightly earthy, mineral note in the background. The acidity is restrained, the mouthfeel is round and full-bodied – a Pinot Gris for those who are looking for easy drinking without any rough edges.
Serving temperature 10–12 °C. Pairs well with pan-fried salmon trout, pasta with mushrooms, or a mild goat cheese. Also a reliable companion as an uncomplicated after-work wine on its own.
Studier Winery in the Palatinate proves that tradition and innovation are not mutually exclusive – they complement each other. Reinhard Studier and his team cultivate their 40 hectares of vineyards organically and with genuine Palatinate serenity.
The range follows a charming concept: The Campus wines offer a fresh, fruity introduction – aged in stainless steel tanks, uncomplicated and easy to drink. The Master wines go deeper: matured in wooden barrels, with a creamy texture and aromas of vanilla, mocha, or pineapple. Tasting is believing.
