Sekt HAUS ÖSTERREICH brut

An Austrian Sekt that shows what the Danube region can extract from local grape varieties: fresh, precise, and with a clear origin in the glass.

Winzer Krems eG is one of the most important wine cooperatives in Lower Austria, founded in 1938 and today rooted in the Kremstal and Wachau regions with around 800 members. The Kremstal is one of Austria's cooler wine-growing regions — the continental temperature fluctuations between night and day ensure natural acidity and freshness, which are indispensable for sparkling wines in particular.

In the glass, the Haus Österreich brut shows a lively, fine perlage. On the nose, green apple, pear, and a hint of white blossoms. On the palate, it is lean and taut, with invigorating acidity and a clean, dry finish without heaviness. A Sekt that does not mask with dosage, but relies on the natural fruit of the grape.

Serve well chilled at 6–8 °C — as an aperitif, with pretzel pastries and cream cheese, or with light appetizers featuring smoked salmon.
