SCAVI & RAY PROSECCO DOC Rose Spumante 0.2L

In 2019, the Italian consortium decided that the white Prosecco grape variety Glera could be blended with a red grape variety to create Prosecco Rosé. In addition to Glera, the blend must contain up to 15% of the noble red Pinot Noir (Spürburgunder), which is also a component of Champagne. Prosecco Rosé is always a Spumante; the slightly more sparkling Frizzante is not permitted. Furthermore, to guarantee the desired high-quality character, Prosecco Rosé must remain on the lees for at least 60 days after fermentation. The grapes used in Prosecco Rosé must always come from a single vintage – a Prosecco Rosé is therefore always a Millesimato! The SCAVI & RAY PROSECCO DOC ROSÉ SPUMANTE was one of the first to appear on the German market in 2020. It consists of 88% Glera and 12% Pinot Nero and is characterized by a typical light pink color with slight violet reflections and a fine perlage. The aroma is dominated by notes of rosy-cheeked apple, fresh pear, and raspberry and pomegranate.
