SCAVI & RAY PROSECCO DOC FRIZZANTE

SCAVI & RAY PROSECCO DOC FRIZZANTE
A light sparkling wine made from the Glera grape, grown in Veneto – the classic region for Prosecco DOC. As a Frizzante, it has less carbon dioxide pressure than a Spumante: the perlage is fine and restrained, making the wine airy and immediately drinkable.
At 10.5% ABV, it remains light. In the glass, fresh aromas of white peach and green apple, a dry finish with no residual sweetness. Serve between 6 and 8 °C.
Great as an aperitif, with light antipasti or dishes with lots of citrus notes – prawns, vitello tonnato, zucchini frittata. Also suitable as a base for a simple spritz.

Scavi & Ray is one of the most renowned Italian premium sparkling wine brands – born in 1963 from the decision of two Italian-Americans to rediscover their roots in the Veneto region. Joe Scavi and Carluccio Ray, New York advertising executives with connections to the international fashion world, found a vineyard in the province of Treviso and began producing Prosecco from Glera grapes. Today, the portfolio encompasses far more than the classic sparkling wines: with Ca' Scavi Lugana DOC, Primitivo Salento IGT, and a range of aperitif creations, Scavi & Ray spans the entire spectrum of Italian wine regions – always with the unmistakable sense of style and lifestyle that has defined the brand from the very beginning.
