Scavi & Ray Wildberry
Scavi & Ray Wildberry is a fruity, light sparkling wine-based aperitif that works with the aroma of ripe wild berries — uncomplicated, colorful, and focused on the moment.
The Scavi & Ray brand has stood for years for accessible sparkling wine aperitifs with an Italian-inspired style. The Wildberry follows this approach: a base wine with berry fruit notes, rounded off into a ready-to-drink aperitif with moderate alcohol content and a sweet style.
In the glass, it appears ruby pink, with aromas of raspberry, blackberry, and a hint of red currant. The perlage is fine, the finish short and sweet — no claim to complexity, but a clear, fruity line.
Best served well chilled at 6–8 °C, neat in a wine glass, or diluted with a splash of mineral water. Fits summer evenings on the terrace, as a welcome drink, or with a light dessert featuring red fruits.

The Brand
Scavi & Ray is a Prosecco and aperitif brand from the MBG Group based in Paderborn. The wines come from Italy: Prosecco DOC and Valdobbiadene DOCG from the Veneto, plus a Lugana from Lake Garda and a Primitivo from Apulia.
At Vinoscout, you can find over 20 products from the brand, from the Prosecco piccolo for €2.49 to the premium cuvée Momento d'Oro: Prosecco Frizzante and Spumante, Rosé and Magnum, the ready-mixed aperitifs Sprizz, Hugo and Wildberry, a non-alcoholic Sparkling and Limoncello.
The brand tells its origin as the story of two Italian-American founders, Joe Scavi and Carluccio Ray. It has been managed by the MBG Group since 2005.
