Roses Roses Brut Spumante - Metodo Classico 0.75L
A sparkling wine that brings the lightness of Lake Garda into the bottle: The Roses Roses Brut Spumante from Ottella is created using the Metodo Classico — meaning with a second fermentation in the bottle and subsequent yeast aging, which gives the wine its fine, creamy perlage.
The Ottella winery, managed by brothers Francesco and Michele Montresor, is located on the southern shore of Lake Garda in the Veneto. The family has been cultivating their vineyards for generations and is known for precise, site-typical wines from one of the most diverse wine regions in Northern Italy. The Roses Roses is based on Pinot Nero — a grape variety predestined for the Metodo Classico: structured enough for bottle fermentation, aromatically fine enough for an elegant sparkling wine.
In the glass, it shows delicate rose aromas, red berries, and a hint of white peach. The perlage is fine and persistent, the finish dry and fresh with a pleasant minerality reminiscent of the limestone-rich soil of Lake Garda. Drinking temperature: 7–9 °C. It makes a fine figure as an aperitif, with antipasti featuring raw ham, or with light pasta dishes with seafood.
