Cantina Ottella –
Turbiana and Amarone from the headland on Lake Garda

Cantina Ottella is located on a narrow headland on the southern shore of Lake Garda, where Veneto and Lombardy meet. For four generations, the Montresor family has cultivated around 90 hectares of vineyards here – a heritage that can be read in every glass: precise manual labor, exact knowledge of the terroir, and a clear commitment to origin.

The heart of the range is the Lugana wines from the local Turbiana grape variety, also known as Trebbiano di Lugana. The calcareous soils on the lakeshore give the wines a fine minerality and a fresh, lively structure – typical for this comparatively small but characterful appellation. In addition, Valpolicella and Amarone are also produced at Ottella, showing the depth and ripeness of the region.

The winery building itself is award-winning: contemporary architecture, art installations, and a well-thought-out connection of wine, nature, and culture. Those who would like to visit Ottella can taste the wines directly on-site by prior reservation – an experience that gives the wines a setting that suits them.
