Prima Luce IGT Veneto 0.375L

Prima Luce is a white wine from the southern shore of Lake Garda that features warm apricot and honey tones and a creamy texture. The 0.375-liter format makes it a handy bottle for two at the end of an evening.

Cantina Ottella manages its own vineyards in San Benedetto di Lugana. Here, a cuvée of Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana), Garganega, and Sauvignon Blanc is created, bottled as Veneto IGT. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates, gently pressed, clarified by natural sedimentation, and fermented at a low temperature. The wine then rests for a long time in the cellar and subsequently matures in the bottle.

In the glass, it glows yellow with distinct golden reflections. On the nose, dried apricot and honey; on the palate, creamy and supple, again with apricot notes. The taste profile is luscious.

Recommendation: Serve it at 8 to 10 °C with blue cheese, foie gras, or an apricot tart for dessert.
