Rosesroses Vino Rosato Ottella IGT Venetien

The Rosesroses from Ottella is a dry rosé wine in a delicate onion-skin pink: slender, mineral-driven, and with fresh acidity. It fits on the terrace just as well as at the dining table.

Cantina Ottella is located in the Veneto, and the grapes for this Rosato grow on the moraine hills of the Alto Mincio. Corvina Veronese, Lagrein, and Rondinella are harvested by hand from late September to early October and destemmed by vibration. Afterward, the must remains on the skins for only 10 to 12 hours at a controlled temperature, hence the light color. Fermentation lasts 14 to 18 days at 18 °C. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is separated from the pomace so that no malolactic fermentation sets in. This keeps the acidity fresh.

In the glass, white peach appears, accompanied by a mineral nuance. On the palate, the wine feels balanced and finely drawn, the acidity carries it to the finish. We recommend it at 8 to 10 °C as an aperitif, with Vitello tonnato, antipasti with seafood, risotto with asparagus, or grilled fish.
