Le Creete Lugana DOC Veneto

Le Creete is a dry Lugana with a clear structure: citrus freshness at the front, a mineral pull in the background. A white wine that works with fish and light cuisine instead of overpowering it.

Cantina Ottella cultivates it in the single vineyard "Le Creete" near San Benedetto di Lugana on the southern shore of Lake Garda. The vines are rooted in limestone and clay soils, and that is exactly where the mineral character for which Lugana wines are known comes from. The appellation stands for the Turbiana grape variety, which combines freshness with substance.

In the glass, you can expect citrus fruits, white flowers, and a hint of almond, typical for Lugana. On the palate, it is dry, carried by lively acidity, and finishes with a salty-mineral aftertaste.

Serve it at 8–10 °C. It pairs well with grilled lake fish, vegetable risotto, antipasti, or spaghetti with lemon butter. It works just as well as an aperitif on the terrace.
