Psenner Grappa Classic
A clear South Tyrolean pomace brandy that shows what good grappa tradition is all about: intense, fresh and with a warmth that is not imposing.
Psenner has been distilling grappa in Auer (South Tyrol) for generations and is considered one of the most renowned producers in the region. For their Classic grappa, pomace from various South Tyrolean grape varieties is distilled in copper pot stills—a process that gives the spirit its characteristically clear, aromatic structure.
The nose offers fruity and floral notes, reminiscent of well-processed, fresh pomace. On the palate, it displays warmth without harshness, a subtle hint of dried herbs, and a long, clean, dry finish—the classic profile of a traditional white grappa.
Neat at room temperature as a digestif — the most obvious and best way to enjoy it. For a more approachable taste, serve it slightly chilled (14–16 °C). It pairs well after a hearty South Tyrolean meal, with dark chocolate, or with an espresso.
