Moscato d'Asti is neither Champagne nor sparkling wine — it's a category all its own: lightly sparkling, with only 5.5% alcohol by volume and natural residual sugar from interrupted fermentation. Prunotto, one of the most renowned wineries in Piedmont, has been producing this style for decades using hand-picked Moscato grapes from the hills surrounding Asti.

On the nose, acacia honey, hawthorn, and peach blossom. On the palate, soft yet lively—the fine carbonation adds freshness, while the natural acidity balances the sweetness. The finish is short and pleasing, without any heaviness.

A classic dessert: almond cake, panna cotta, fresh strawberries. Also delicious as an aperitif with mild blue cheese or simply chilled (6–8 °C) after a meal.
