Monavi California Cabernet

Active in Napa Valley since 1966, the winery has played a crucial role in establishing Californian wine on the international stage. The Mondavi California Cabernet represents an accessible entry point into the Mondavi portfolio—broader in origin, but clear in style: ripe fruit, soft tannins, and uncomplicated enjoyment.

In the glass, it displays dark cherry and blackberry, along with notes of cedar and a light vanilla layer from the oak aging. The tannins are round and well-integrated, the acidity moderate—typical of warm Californian vintages. The finish is medium-long with a hint of cocoa.
