Metzger Prachtstück Weißburgunder Chardonnay

Metzger Prachtstück Weißburgunder Chardonnay
Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay from the Palatinate — two varieties that complement each other: the Burgundian structure of the Pinot Blanc meets the richness of the Chardonnay. The result is a white wine that is easy to drink, but has more depth than its name suggests.
Metzger Winery is one of the most reliable wineries in the Palatinate region. The family vinifies their wines with a focus on drinkability and everyday usability—without sacrificing substance. Their showpiece is their patio wine: approachable, fresh, and perfect for a quick glass.
The glass reveals aromas of yellow peach, mirabelle plum, and a hint of white blossoms. On the palate, it is juicy and light, with a delicate minerality on the finish—not heavy, but with enough structure to avoid feeling flat.
Best served between 10 and 12 °C . Pairs well with pasta in a cream sauce, goat cheese salad, or grilled salmon. Also a good choice as a casual aperitif. Drinking window: now until 2026.
