Metzger Prachtstück Cuvée white

The Metzger Prachtstück Cuvée white is a white wine blend of Bacchus, Scheurebe, and Riesling. These vines grow on calcareous marl soils that yield low harvests. Utilizing the terroir, Uli Metzger's expertise, and the carefully selected grape varieties result in characterful wines. The Metzger Prachtstück Cuvée white offers a delicate residual sweetness that harmoniously balances the acidity. It displays aromas of tropical fruits, pineapple, and grapefruit. A fresh, beautifully balanced summer wine.

Metzger Winery

The name Uli Metzger from Asselheim is synonymous with the Metzger winery in the Northern Palatinate. He has managed the winery since 2010, though he has been involved with the business for over 30 years, when it still belonged to his parents. His dedication and innovative ideas have led to its success. Numerous technological advancements, as well as the distinctive labels, which categorize the wines into three tiers – similar to the cuts of beef – have contributed to the wines' renown. Modern, high-quality wines are cultivated on approximately 19 hectares of land, largely composed of calcareous soil.
