Marzadro Le Giare Amarone in a box + 2 glasses

When autumn moves into Trentino and the harvest in the vineyards comes to an end, the wedding begins at the Marzadro distillery. From September until well into December, work is carried out around the clock for 100 days without interruption to distill several hundred kilograms of freshly delivered selected pomace every day.

Exclusive grappa, which has been aged for 36 months in small barrels of valuable oak wood. Rich and intense, velvety, persistent, and pleasantly engaging taste. Marzadro dedicates the “Le Giare” to the memory of the injustices and cruelties that the women accused of witchcraft in the village of Giare in the municipality of Nogaredo had to suffer around the year 1646, only to be subsequently subjected to a trial and sentenced to death.

On the palate, Le Giare Amarone presents itself velvety, round, and persistent. A grappa of incredible softness, with walnut and cocoa aromas.

The Distillery

Marzadro

The distillery Marzadro – Italian craftsmanship since 1949. Founded by Sabina and Attilio Marzadro, it is located in the north of Italy, in Vallagarina, surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees. Here, grappas and liqueurs of the highest quality are created.

What makes them special? The pomace is traditionally distilled using the water-bath steam method – gently and precisely, supported by modern computer control.

The quality is regularly checked by the "Istituto Tutela Grappa del Trentino". A true pleasure from the north of Italy.
