Macia Batle Tinto Añada
Color: dense red with blackberry-colored reflections
Scent: spicy berry fruit and plum, young and present, with a fine, integrated barrique note
Taste: juicy and berry-like, youthful structure and medium-strength tannin, plenty of cherry on the palate, aromatically rounded off by the wooden barrel aging
The grapes are destemmed, crushed, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers for 10 days at a maximum of 28°C. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine matures for two months in American oak barriques.

The Bodega
The Spanish winery Macia Batle is located on the Balearic island of Mallorca and was founded there in 1865. The current owner is Ramón Vala Viaña. The winery is located on the western side of the island and is approximately 25 minutes away from the city of Palma de Mallorca.
In total, Macia Batle has a vineyard area of 150 hectares, which are characterized by soft soils with a very high calcium content.
Together with the climate, which is characterized by 300 sunny days a year and short winters with little precipitation, the soil and weather offer very good conditions for the growth of the vines. For the production of Macia Batle wines, grape varieties such as Manto Negro, Callet, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Prensal Blanc, or Chardonnay are grown.
