Macia Batle
The Spanish winery Macia Batle is located on the Balearic island of Mallorca and was founded there in 1865. The current owner is Ramón Vala Viaña. The winery is situated on the western side of the island, approximately 25 minutes from the city of Palma de Mallorca. Macia Batle has a total vineyard area of 150 hectares, characterized by soft soils with a very high calcium content. Combined with the climate, which boasts 300 days of sunshine a year and short winters with little rainfall, the soil and weather provide excellent conditions for vine growth. Macia Batle cultivates grape varieties such as Manto Negro, Callet, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Prensal Blanc, and Chardonnay for its wines.
Rooted in western Mallorca since 1865
On calcareous soils near Palma, Macia Batle has been cultivating grape varieties such as Manto Negro, Callet, and Prensal Blanc since 1865 – complemented by Syrah and Chardonnay. 300 days of sunshine and short, dry winters shape the style: ripe and fruity, with Mediterranean warmth and a clear sense of origin.
