Macia Batle Tinto Añada

Color: Deep red with blackberry highlights. Aroma: Spicy berry fruit and plum, youthful and vibrant, with a subtle, integrated oak note. Taste: Juicy and berry-like, youthful structure and medium tannins, plenty of cherry on the palate, aromatically rounded off by the oak aging. The grapes are destemmed, crushed, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 10 days at a maximum of 28°C. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine matures for two months in American oak barriques.

Macia Batle

The Spanish winery Macia Batle is located on the Balearic island of Mallorca and was founded there in 1865. The current owner is Ramón Vala Viaña. The winery is situated on the western side of the island, approximately 25 minutes from the city of Palma de Mallorca. Macia Batle has a total vineyard area of 150 hectares, characterized by soft soils with a very high calcium content. Combined with the climate, which boasts 300 days of sunshine a year and short winters with little rainfall, the soil and weather provide excellent conditions for vine growth. Macia Batle cultivates grape varieties such as Manto Negro, Callet, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Prensal Blanc, and Chardonnay for its wines.
