Antonio Nadal – Mallorcan liqueur craftsmanship since 1898. Founded in Buñola, exports expanded to South America in the 1920s – until the civil war. The tradition was revived in the post-war years. In the 1980s, the Morey-Garau family took over the company in its third generation. They invested, modernized, and expanded. Production reached 80,000 liters in 1986 and 2 million liters by 2000. In 1998, the company relocated to Marratxí, again undergoing extensive modernization. Today, Antonio Nadal stands for Mallorcan quality steeped in tradition – and a forward-looking vision.

Mallorca’s liqueur art from Marratxí
Antonio Nadal Distilleries is one of the oldest spirit producers in the Balearic Islands. Founded in 1898 in the mountain village of Buñola, the company began exporting early on – in the 1920s, its liqueurs reached as far as South America. The Civil War interrupted this history, but in the post-war years, the art of distillation on Mallorca came back to life.
In the 1980s, the Morey-Garau family took over the company in the third generation and consistently drove change forward: new facilities, larger capacities, a clear commitment to quality. What began in 1986 with 80,000 liters grew to two million liters by the year 2000 – growth that would not have been possible without artisanal substance.
Since 1998, Antonio Nadal has been producing in Marratxí, not far from Palma. The new premises allowed for further modernization without compromising the character of the recipes. Today, the house's liqueurs stand for what Mallorcan tradition is all about: Mediterranean raw materials, cross-generational knowledge, and a style that does not bend.
