Bodega65 –
artisan wines from the heart of Mallorca
In the Mallorcan hamlet of Cas Canar stands a former shoe factory that has been given a new lease on life since 2016: The old production halls have been transformed into a climate-controlled, technically precise winery. Since the end of 2023, the Bodega65 team has been managing the winery – and has consistently focused its processes on quality.
The concept is the brainchild of Thomas Wambsganss, who not only manages the cellar but has also completely rethought the entire process chain: After harvesting, the grapes are immediately chilled, transported gently, and processed by gravity – without unnecessary pressure or oxidation. Fermentation takes place at a constant temperature and in an airtight environment. The result is a style that combines freshness and structure, even with an annual capacity of 100,000 liters.
What is produced in Cas Canar is not an industrial island wine, but the product of a well-thought-out artisanal philosophy – with the aim that every bottle reflects the care taken in the cellar.
