Macià Batle Rosado

A Mallorcan rosé whose vibrant raspberry-red color evokes the feeling of summer even before you taste it. Macia Batle blends four grape varieties on Mallorca to create a dry rosé with a distinct character: Manto Negro and Callet, both native varieties, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

The winery was founded in 1996 and is located in the heart of the Pla i Llevant Denominació d'Origen. The vineyards benefit from a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters—ideal conditions for aromatically ripe grapes. The Rosado demonstrates how well international and indigenous grape varieties can blend together on the island.

Ripe strawberry and red raspberry dominate the glass, with a subtly spicy, slightly herbal note in the background. The wine is dry, with fresh acidity and a clean, short finish. Not a heavyweight—but that's precisely what makes it an uncomplicated companion for warm days.

Best served well chilled at 8–10 °C : with grilled seafood, a tomato salad with Manchego cheese, or simply on its own on the terrace.

Macia Batle

The Spanish winery Macia Batle is located on the Balearic island of Mallorca and was founded there in 1865. The current owner is Ramón Vala Viaña. The winery is situated on the western side of the island, approximately 25 minutes from the city of Palma de Mallorca. Macia Batle has a total vineyard area of 150 hectares, characterized by soft soils with a very high calcium content. Combined with the climate, which boasts 300 days of sunshine a year and short winters with little rainfall, the soil and weather provide excellent conditions for vine growth. Macia Batle cultivates grape varieties such as Manto Negro, Callet, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Prensal Blanc, and Chardonnay for its wines.
