Haus Klosterberg Pinot Noir Rosé

A rosé that shows what Mosel Pinot Noir is capable of: delicate, precise, with real depth instead of just summery lightness. Markus Molitor is primarily known for his Rieslings, but he is also one of the most reliable names for Pinot Noir in the Mosel region.

The winery, based in Wehlen, cultivates over 100 hectares along the Middle Mosel — including some of the steepest slate slopes in Germany. Haus Klosterberg is the entry-level range, yet it stands for the same artisanal care: gentle hand-harvesting, precise cellar techniques, and clear fruit without masking.

In the glass, the rosé glows in a light salmon pink. The nose reveals strawberry, raspberry, and a delicate hint of white pepper. On the palate, it offers lively acidity, a light body, and a dry, fresh finish with no residual sugar. A rosé with a clear profile.

Best served at 8–10 °C — as the start of a summer evening, with grilled salmon, goat cheese salad, or a charcuterie board. It also pairs well with light pasta dishes featuring tomatoes or fresh herbs.
