Hammel & Cie Von der Senn Rosé

The rosé from the Senn vineyard is made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and was aged in large wooden barrels. Its aroma is exceptionally appealing, characterized by raspberries, currants, pink grapefruit, lemon balm, and a hint of vanilla. A subtle touch of white pepper and floral nuances round out the bouquet. On the palate, it is juicy and offers a wonderful interplay of flavors. The fruitiness is particularly pronounced, accompanied by finesse and elegance. Its delicate aromatics are complemented by a light, salty minerality that leaves a lingering finish.

Hammel & Cie Winery

Since 1723, the Hammel & Cie winery in Kirchheim an der Weinstraße has been one of the most trusted names in the Palatinate region – today, Christoph Hammel runs the estate in the ninth generation. On 42 hectares surrounding the historic village center of Kirchheim, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and now also Grüner Veltliner grapes thrive in one of Germany's mildest climate regions. In the vineyard, the Hammel family adheres to time-honored traditions, while in the cellar, they focus on the judicious use of steel and oak. The result is wines with a distinct character, aromatic fruit, and a guiding principle that the family themselves describe as: bringing joy.
