H3 Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon

The wind, typical of the Horse Heaven Hills in Washington state, forces the vines to remain small and develop less dense foliage. This results in the grapes being more exposed to the sun. This, combined with the strong winds and the expertise of winemaker Juan Muñoz Oca, ensures that the wines develop a very special, impressive aroma. The Columbia Crest H3 Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep red color with purple reflections in the glass. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe, red berries, along with earthy and toasty notes. A juicy, full-bodied wine, it offers good tannin structure and displays beautiful fruit reminiscent of currants and plums. The finish is long and silky, with accentuated nuances of coffee and dark chocolate. The Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
