The Columbia Crest Grand Estates Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State is a red wine for those seeking classic Cabernet strength—without compromising on enjoyment. Whether you open it for dinner or gift it to a special occasion, this wine delivers on its promise.
In the glass, it shines a deep ruby red with purple highlights . The nose greets you with intense berry fruit—ripe cherries, blackcurrant—subtly underpinned by delicate spice aromas. On the palate, it unfolds with a full body and power, yet remains pleasantly soft: luscious chocolate and berry fruit , a long finish, silky tannins, and slightly spicy cocoa notes.
Behind this character lies meticulous work: The grapes are hand-harvested from October onwards, three-quarters are crushed, and one-quarter is fermented whole—resulting in deep, aromatic fruit with structure. The wine then matures for 16 months in oak barrels , one-third of which are new. The result is a wine with depth, elegance, and a truly distinctive character.

The Winery
Columbia Crest was founded in 1983 and is a US winery located in Washington State, three hours' drive from Seattle. Situated on the Columbia River and protected by the Cascade Mountains, the region offers perfect conditions for viticulture.
In addition, these conditions are favored by the climate, which is characterized by a controlled water supply and sufficient hours of sunshine.
A variety of grape varieties are grown for the production of the wines on a vineyard area of 2500 hectares. These include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Chardonnay, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah.
