Geyserville Zinfandel

Geyserville Zinfandel
For decades, Geyserville has stood for what Zinfandel from Sonoma does best: deep fruit, power, and yet structure. This wine takes no detours.
Geyserville in northern Sonoma County is one of California's historic Zinfandel growing regions – with old vines on well-drained soils that give the wine concentration without heaviness. Ridge Vineyards has shaped this area for decades, demonstrating that Zinfandel is more than just an everyday red.
In the glass, a rich ruby red with a violet rim. The nose opens with blackberry and black plum , underpinned by licorice, a hint of mint, and spicy notes of clove and black pepper. Powerful on the palate, with dense berry fruit on the attack – well-defined tannins support the wine without being overpowering. Long, slightly spicy finish.
