Ridge Pagani Ranch

Ridge Pagani Ranch
The Pagani Ranch is one of Ridge's most characterful Zinfandel wines — a single-vineyard blend that shows what old vines in the Sonoma Valley can achieve.
Pagani Ranch is located in the cool Sonoma Valley, where afternoon fog contributes to slow ripening and vibrant acidity. Ridge harvests in stages: first the younger Zinfandel, then the older vines, and finally Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouchet—a process that brings a complexity to the wine that a single grape variety alone could not achieve. Since the 1960s, Ridge has been synonymous with artisanal Zinfandel interpretation and is considered a benchmark for this grape variety in Northern California.
In the glass, the Pagani Ranch displays dark blackberry and plum, underpinned by pepper, dried lavender, and a hint of tobacco. The Petite Sirah contributes structure and depth, while the Alicante Bouchet provides rich color and tannins. The finish is long and spicy, with the bright acidity typical of this appellation—not a weak wine, but one with backbone.
