E. Guigal Crozes-Hermitage Rouge

The E. Guigal Crozes-Hermitage Rouge is a deep red wine made from approximately 35-year-old vines growing on clay-rich, sandy soils around the villages of Gervans, Mercurol, Larnage, and Crozes-Hermitage. The wine offers aromas of red fruits such as cherries and strawberries, complemented by oak notes. It is a robust wine with aromas of currants and vanilla, yet remarkably fresh and exhibiting present tannins, which are, however, only subtly integrated thanks to the oak aging. It matures for 24 months in oak barrels.

E. Guigal

Maison Guigal – one of the most prestigious wineries in the Rhône Valley. Founded in 1946 by Étienne Guigal, it has been family-owned for three generations. From Ampuis, in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie, Guigal focuses on precision and craftsmanship. The crowning achievement: the three legendary single-vineyard wines La Landonne, La Mouline, and La Turque – world-class Syrah wines. Each parcel is vinified individually, some aged in new barriques. But Guigal is more than that: Hermitage, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Everywhere you look, you'll find a passion for detail and for the terroir.
