Domaine Chanson Rully Blanc

Domaine Chanson Rully Blanc
Rully is one of the most reliable addresses in the Côte Chalonnaise — less well known than Meursault, but with the same Burgundian style: Chardonnay on a calcareous subsoil that balances minerality and fruit.
Domaine Chanson is one of the oldest wineries in Burgundy (founded in 1750) and has traditionally focused its wine production in the Côte de Beaune. The wines from Rully represent an approachable, Burgundian style without unnecessary heaviness.
In the glass, the Rully Blanc displays a pale gold color. The nose offers aromas of white peach, ripe pear, and a subtle citrus note. Aging in oak imparts a fine, creamy texture without dominating the wine. The acidity is well-integrated, and the finish is medium-long with a mineral aftertaste.
