Chanson Chablis Fourchaumes

Chanson Chablis Fourchaumes
The Chanson Chablis Fourchaumes comes from one of the most prestigious Premier Cru vineyards in Chablis — and you can taste it. Cool minerality, firm acidity, clear fruit: a Pinot Blanc terroir that is second to none.
Maison Chanson is one of Burgundy's oldest négociant houses, founded in Beaune in 1750. Since its acquisition by the Bollinger Group, the house has been managed with a clear focus on expressing terroir. The Fourchaumes vineyard lies northeast of Chablis, on the characteristic Kimmeridge limestone with its embedded oyster fossils—the geological basis for the typical saline note in the glass.
On the nose, the wine displays white blossoms, green apple, and citrus peel. On the palate, a precise, almost sharp acidity follows, underpinned by a delicate chalky minerality. The finish is long, salty, and dry—without any heaviness.
