Delicato Family Wines Black Stallion Limited Release Syrah Napa Valley

Black Stallion is the prestige label of Delicato Family Wines, one of California's great family wineries. The grapes for this Syrah come from Napa Valley—a region that, thanks to long sunny days and cool Pacific nights, gives the Syrah an unusual combination of ripeness and freshness.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby ​​red color. The nose offers aromas of blueberry and blackberry, underpinned by dark chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of sweet baking spices—cinnamon and cardamom. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with ripe, seamless tannins and a long, slightly spicy finish.

Serving suggestion: Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with braised lamb rump, pulled pork, or a mature cheddar. If opening now, decant for 30 minutes beforehand—this allows the wine to breathe and opens up its aromatic profile.
