Bianchetto Sauvignon delle Venezie

An uncomplicated Sauvignon Blanc that shows what the northeastern Italian DOC Delle Venezie can reliably do: fresh fruit, clean vinification, direct drinking pleasure.

The Sacchetto winery is located in Veneto and is one of the region's established producers. The focus is on single-varietal wines aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks—a style that emphasizes freshness and varietal character without overpowering oak aromas.

In the glass, the Bianchetto Sauvignon displays aromas of white currant, gooseberry, and a hint of elderflower. The acidity is present but not harsh—the wine remains round and inviting. A medium-long finish with a slightly green herbal note, typical of Sauvignon Blanc from the cooler slopes of Veneto.

Serving suggestion: Serve it at 8–10 °C as an aperitif or with light summer dishes.
Goes well with: goat cheese, grilled vegetables, pasta with pesto or fresh seafood.
Drinking window: drink now, optimal until 2026.

Sacchetto

Sacchetto – an Italian winery in the heart of Veneto. Founded in the early 20th century by Sisto Sacchetto, the winery was taken over by his son Filiberto in the 1960s. Filiberto restructured the business and transformed it into a competitive enterprise. What sets Sacchetto apart? The combination of tradition and modern techniques – resulting in wines of the highest quality. Across 65 hectares in two growing regions, the Venetian climate and mineral-rich soils ensure optimal growth. The selection includes wines and Proseccos made from Glera, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Italian lifestyle you can taste.
