Sacchetto Bianco di Custoza DOC L'Alfiere
The Bianco di Custoza DOC L'Alfiere from Sacchetto is a light, fresh white wine from the Veneto region – made for days when you want something uncomplicated but full of character in your glass.
The Sacchetto winery is located in Piombino Dese in the province of Treviso and is one of the most reliable producers in northeastern Italy's wine region. The Custoza DOC lies south of Lake Garda – an area known for elegant white wines made from a blend of grape varieties: typically Garganega, Trebbiano, and Fernanda, sometimes complemented by Tocai or Riesling Italico. The result is wines with natural freshness and a pleasant lightness.
In the glass, L'Alfiere displays a pale straw yellow color. The nose offers delicate floral aromas, a hint of white peach, and spicy herbal notes. On the palate, it is soft and easy to drink, with lively acidity that keeps the wine fresh, and a short, clean finish.
Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Best enjoyed young – within the next one to two years. Ideal with light appetizers, antipasti, grilled fish or seafood. Also makes a great aperitif on the terrace.
