Sacchetto La Fiera Chardonnay Veneto IGT

Straw yellow with green reflections, fresh and uncomplicated – the La Fiera Chardonnay from Sacchetto is an everyday white wine from the Veneto that impresses with clear fruit and lively minerality.

The Sacchetto winery is a family-run estate in the Piave region of eastern Veneto, an area where Chardonnay, thanks to its proximity to the Alps and well-aerated soils, can express its fresh, aromatic character. Veneto IGT is the classic designation of origin for approachable, characterful wines from this part of northern Italy.

In the glass, aromas of green apple and pear emerge, underpinned by a mineral note that gives the wine definition. The body is light to medium, the acidity is present and fresh, and the finish is clean and short. No oak aging – the wine remains true to its varietal character and straightforward.

Sacchetto

Sacchetto – an Italian winery in the heart of Veneto. Founded in the early 20th century by Sisto Sacchetto, the winery was taken over by his son Filiberto in the 1960s. Filiberto restructured the business and transformed it into a competitive enterprise. What sets Sacchetto apart? The combination of tradition and modern techniques – resulting in wines of the highest quality. Across 65 hectares in two growing regions, the Venetian climate and mineral-rich soils ensure optimal growth. The selection includes wines and Proseccos made from Glera, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Italian lifestyle you can taste.
