Beaujolais Blanc Château des Jacques BIO

Beaujolais Blanc Château des Jacques BIO
Chardonnay from Beaujolais – a region primarily known for its Gamay. Château des Jacques shows that white wine with substance also grows here.
The estate belongs to Maison Louis Jadot and is located in the heart of Moulin-à-Vent. The vineyards are managed organically. For the Beaujolais Blanc, the team relies on single-varietal Chardonnay – vinified without wood influence, so that the fruit and the minerality of the subsoil clearly stand in the foreground.
In the glass, it shows aromas of yellow peach, apricot and citrus peel, underneath a fresh, precise acid structure. No melt, no heaviness – the finish is mineral and animating.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Goes well with grilled zander, a goat cheese salad or light pasta dishes with lemon and herbs.
