A. Diehl Chestnut Liqueur 0.5L

A. Diehl Chestnut Liqueur — a liqueur for everyone who enjoys autumnal warmth and a touch of the unusual. Distiller A. Diehl from the Palatinate region has relied on regional ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship for generations. This chestnut liqueur is a fine example of that.

The base consists of sweet chestnuts from the Palatinate region , which are steeped in alcohol using the classic maceration method. This slowly releases the characteristic aromas of the fruit pulp: nutty, ripe, with an earthy depth . These are complemented by soft caramel notes and subtle hints of coffee, marzipan, and chocolate—complex without being overpowering.

This liqueur is wonderful neat, slightly chilled, as a digestif after a hearty autumn or winter meal. It also pairs beautifully with a strong espresso or over vanilla ice cream. If you'd like to serve it with wine, choose a mature Pinot Noir or a spicy Lemberger —the dark fruit notes of both red wines complement the nutty character of the liqueur perfectly.
