A. Diehl White Burgundy one to one dry
Pinot Blanc, as it works best in the Palatinate: substantial, yet fresh — not a ponderous flatterer, but also not thin.
Alexandra-Isabell Diehl runs the winery in Flemlingen, in the heart of the Southern Palatinate. Behind the name "eins zu eins" (one to one) lies a clear philosophy: grape variety, vineyard, vintage – no alteration, no cosmetic enhancement. What the vineyard provides ends up unfiltered in the glass.
This Pinot Blanc displays creamy pear and white peach, along with a hint of almond and a subtle spicy note reminiscent of anise and fennel. The texture is rounded, the body medium-bodied. Lively acidity provides structure without being harsh—the finish is minerally fresh.
Serving suggestion: Best served at 10–12 °C. Pairs well with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, pan-fried pike-perch, or mild goat cheese. Also delicious on its own as an uncomplicated after-work wine. Drink now until 2027.
A. Diehl – winery, sparkling wine estate and distillery all in one: This estate from Edesheim in the Southern Palatinate embodies enjoyment in all its diversity. Nestled between the Haardt Mountains and the Rhine plain, where the climate is particularly mild and sunny, wines, sparkling wines and spirits with genuine character are produced here.
For three generations, the Diehl family has combined craftsmanship with hospitality – and it shows. Those who drink their wines get a taste of Palatinate lifestyle in their glass.
