I Tratturi Primitivo Puglia – Feudi di San Marzano (Italy, Apulia)
Vines have been cultivated for over 2000 years around the small town of San Marzano, almost at the very end of the Apulian heel. The cooperative winery Feudi di San Marzano continues this tradition and produces well-known wines from local varieties. The vines stand at an altitude of about 100 meters, with high average temperatures and very little rainfall. The soil consists mainly of clay. In the glass, the Primitivo shows a dark ruby red. Ripe plum and cherry dominate the nose, accompanied by a spicy rosemary note that gives the wine freshness and depth. On the palate, it appears powerful, warm and round, with plenty of dark fruit and a spicy finish.

Pairs well with: Pasta with meat sauce, orecchiette with sausage ragout, grilled lamb or a burger from the grill. It also goes well with aged Pecorino and an antipasti platter with salami. Serve it at 16 to 18 °C, then the fruit and spice come into their own best.

Six bottles of the same wine in a pack give you a price advantage compared to buying them individually. The pack is suitable for stocking up your cellar, for barbecue evenings and family dinners with several guests, or as a gift for someone who likes powerful red wines from the south. And for those who do not yet know the Primitivo, six bottles allow you to experience right away how versatile it tastes with different dishes.
